Cover and Dimmer Filter



Installation Procedure of Front Protection Cover

Hook the claw on one side of the front protection cover onto the

groove on the side of the SL-C/SL-V series as shown, then push the

claw on the other side onto the groove.

2 Adjust the position of the front protection cover so that its end

surface is level and at the same height as that of the end surface

of the SL-C/SL-V series.

To use the E-to-E mounting bracket (OP-42370) or the compact

E-to-E mounting bracket (OP-83181), install the SL-C/SL-V

series by using the mounting bracket first, then install the front

protection cover. These mounting brackets cannot be installed

in the SL-C/SL-V series after the front protection cover has

already been installed.

 Installation Procedure of Dimmer Filter

Install the dimmer filter in the front protection cover by sliding it as

shown in the illustration below.

• A maximum of two dimmer filters can be installed on a single

front protection cover.

• To install the two dimmer filters, either install them after

stacking them or install one dimmer filter after another.

2 Press both ends of the dimmer filter toward the front protection

cover, and confirm that the dimmer filter fits into the front

protection cover securely.

 Operating distance

* A maximum of two front protection covers can be installed: one for the

transmitter and the other for the receiver. A maximum of two dimmer filters

can be installed on a single front protection cover.



Dimensions for installation of SL-C/SL-V series

* Front protection cover must be installed to the suitable model of SL-V/SL-C

series according to the above table. (Ex. for SL-V08H, OP-51454 must be

installed.)

* One package of front protection cover contains one unit of front protection

cover. Two units of front protection cover are required to install the front

protection cover on both the transmitter and receiver.

* One package of dimmer filter contains one unit of dimmer filter.
