Communicating with the FD-MH series

Writing settings or status
(1) To see that the sensor amplifier is ready to send/receive commands, check that the "sensor ready"
parameter is set to 1.
(2) Write the data category and command number in the remote register.
Data category: In the high byte, write the data category of the parameter to be written, by referring
to "Command Parameter List" (page 3-24).
Data number: For writing, write 01h in the low byte.
(3) Write the data number in the r
emote register.
Data number: Write the data number of the parameter to be written, by referring to "Command
Parameter List" (page 3-24).
ID number: For data category 00/10, write the ID number of the sensor amplifier, to which the param-
eter is written, in the high byte.
(4) In the remote register, write the data to be written. For details of writable ranges, see "Command
Parameter List" (p
age 3-24).
(5) Execute the command by activating the "request for command" (0 -> 1).
(6) After the command execution completes, the "command completed" signal flips from 0 to 1.
(7) If an error occurs during command execution, the "command error" signal flips from 0 to 1. For
details of the error, check the values entered in the "command response".
(8) Details of the command execution result are stored. For details of the result, see "Command
respons
e list" (page 3-8).
(9) When the "request for command" is set to 0, the "command completed" and "command error"
parameters flip to 0.
