SL-V-M-NO6-E
When the detection zone is interrupted. (one or more beam axis is blocked.)
The states of the 5 bar LEDs are as follows:
No.5 will light up red so long as the top beam axis is uninterrupted.
No.2 through 4 will light up red so long as the top and bottom beam axis are uninterrupted.
No.1 will light up red so long as the bottom beam axis is uninterrupted.
The display is the same for the transmitter and the receiver.
Indication pattern
OSSD keeps ON state in case of muted or override condition, but the indication is in accordance with the above pattern.
In case of series connection, the indicators on each unit independently indicate according to their own situation.
See "Series Connection" (page 2-6)
Applying the fixed blanking function to a beam reverses the clear and blocked results for that beam.
See "Fixed Blanking" (page 2-48)
When the detection zone is uninterrupted
The states of the 5 bar LEDs will light up green and indicate the number of beam axis with an amount of
received light being 140% or greater.
Indication pattern
For the definition of the amount of receiving light of 100%, 100% means a threshold between OSSD-ON and OSSD-OFF.
In case of around 100%, the light curtain easily goes to ON state or OFF state due to environmental or installation factor,
such as dust, pollution, angle, vibration or the like.
In order to make suitable operation of the SL-V, the SL-V should be operated with all of bar LEDs No.1 to No.5 lit in green,
even though the SL-V is able to do the normal operation with the amount of receiving light of 100% or more.
OSSD keeps OFF state during interlock condition even if no interruption is present in the detection zone.
In case of series connection, the indicators on each unit independently indicate according to their own situation.
See "Series Connection" (page 2-6)
