Output
The table below indicated the state of the outputs. The indicator (on the transmitter) changes each time
the wait input (violet wire on the transmitter) turns ON. Output operation of the SL-V can be verified via
these indicators on the transmitter or monitoring the actual change of state on the outputs.
Pulse output through state information output 2
After the wait input turns ON eight times while I/O monitoring function is activated, the checking pulse is
output through the state information output 2. (If the connector cable used is for the NPN output, bar LED
No. 1 on the receiver begins to blink. If the connector cable used is for the PNP output, bar LED No. 2
begins to blink.)
The checking pulses can be output through state information output 2.
The number of checking pulses that can be output is as follows.

Meaning Pulse output condition
1 Normal operation
The I/O monitoring function is activated and the wait input turns ON eight times.
After 2 or 3 pulses described below are output, more than one input that meets the
condition for outputting the pulses is deactivated.
2 Muted condition Muting input 2 turns ON 0.3 seconds or more after muting input 1 turns ON.
3 Override condition
Either muting input 1, muting input 2, or both turn ON, and the reset input turns ON 0.3
seconds or more after the override input turns ON.
4 Muting lamp error
The SL-V detects a muting lamp error after (2) or (3) described above are output. The
muting lamp turns ON if the muting lamp is in normal operation.
